
We need your help!
We have two officer roles to fill urgently – First Vice President (VP) and Assistant Treasurer.
The STC Lone Star chapter has been an active chapter bringing you valuable programs, job opportunities, and networking with your tribe. But that is about to change because the chapter membership is fast declining and the volunteer base has all but disappeared.
It is so dire that we may have to fold our chapter if we are unable to set up a succession plan.
We need a First Vice President and an Assistant Treasurer immediately for 2021. Without these roles filled, the chapter will have to either merge with another chapter or just fold at the end of 2021. We need your help NOW.
Would you be willing to step up?
We are here to set you up for success. We have the tools, documentation, and a team to help make tasks easier for you.
Our current treasurer, Beth Allphin, has been serving our chapter for almost three years. As she steps down at the end of 2020, we need an Assistant Treasurer who can shadow her. If you can balance a checkbook, you can be treasurer.
And if you are interested in the First VP role, you have the entire 2021 to shadow the President before you are at the helm in 2022. Generally speaking, the President decides the programming for their year. Our chapter has the team, the infrastructure, and the know-how to help and support the President host events and plan for their year of presidency. Think of the President as the steward and the Board that will help the President manage the events.
