If you think translation is a confusing black box, this is for you. You do not need to speak another language to ensure that your documents are spot on for readers around the world. We will reveal what really happens to your technical documents when they go to a translator and talk about what translators wish you as the document’s author knew beforehand. By starting your technical project with translation in mind, you will be ahead of the game. In the future, you will be able to save time, money, and heartache by preparing documents that are 100% ready for translation so that your clients (and readers) around the world stay happy.

Michael Ward

Michael has been working in the language services industry for more than 10 years. Before joining TransNation Translations, he worked with two start-ups in the closed captioning and subtitling field. He has a BA in history and an MS in international political economy.

Lacey Corbin

Lacey has a Bachelor’s degree in English from Texas Woman’s University and a Master’s degree in Technical Communication from Minnesota State University, Mankato. She loves working as a technical writer and focuses on writing English for translation.
